Magical lighting, would love to know how you processed this. I gave it a 9 and thought the composition was great. Can't understand why some don't like the back boat, IMO it *needs* to be there. |

I gave this a 7. I was pissed at people using brushstroke filters (seemed too easy), but I liked the quality of the light in this shot, particularly the way it shined through that woman's hat. That made the whole shot for me. |

this would be perfect if the back boat was not in the shot. Still like-7 |

Very awesome! I love this processing. What a great challenge to appreciate such cool techniques! This one has to be one of the top few! |

I love the great contrast here. Composition is also wonderful. Gave you a 7 earlier in the week and I think I'll stick with that. Very nice work. |

This would remind one of the "Boat at GIverny" by Monet. It would seem that the photo was taken in the harsh afternoon light, which is a pity as I believe it detracts from an otherwise very pleasant image. Good luck to you in the challenge. |

Wow this is very different from the others, I love the composition you used here its spot on or me! The lady with the hat and umbrella made this shot, nice use of effects as well really gives a painterly feel in to it and yet I still get a sense that its a photograph, which some of the otheres entries don't and being a photography challenge I wanted to see more of! Good luck! |

Very traditional subject. Would have been better if there was only one boat in the picture. I'm also not a fan of the effect applied here. |

The greens feel odd to me, but the image has good potential. |

Superb! Wonderful composition! I think the ring of light at the end of the one paddle makes this...like a diamond on a pretty girl! |

great idea and processing. I think just having one row boat in your picture would have focused the view more (the one with the lady with the umbrella) |
