30 Days of Black and White

Originally shot high-key to start (using my AlienBees) so that I could convert at later date. That it works for b&w side challenge is a bonus! :)

Used channel mixer to convert, lowering red channel and upping green channel to show anything at all. Curves layer, cropped, rotated horizontally, resized and added border.

Very high key effect, i kinda like it a lot. The colour version is pretty fantastic as well.

Very nice high key. Perfect focus and DOF. My preference is to put the subject on the right hand side so that the eye flows into it.

Very nice. This is a very good high key shot which balances extreme highlights with the perfect amount of detail to define the subject.

I love high key! I would have loved to see even less of the flowers :) To each his own though... not sure what other comments you will get on this one, but I adore it!

Love the high key -- it give the photo such a delecate and soft feel! I feel that there is some detail lost on the top left flower and ti sort of disapperas into the background. That said, I really love the image!
