Dawn Inspirationby NeilComment: Neil, congrats on you top 10!!! I'm not at all surprised, but wish this baby would have ribboned for you. Absolutely gorgeous. Edit to add: did you know you are one of my statistical favorite photogs? This one is going into favorites too. Message edited by author 2007-09-08 08:09:47. |

Morning conversationsby MelethiaComment: Congratulations, Deb!!! You've been on a huge roll lately. A plus 7 score, especially in a contest like this one, is a major accomplishment. Wonderful. |

SICK!by littlegettComment: This reminds me of the 80's pop-art of Patrick Nagel. Whether or not it qualifies as impressionism is open for interpretation, I guess, but either way, it's a captivating photo. You get a high score from me. |

Lady of the Forestby PuckzzzComment: I like the zoom effect combined with either filter or gel on glass, I'm guessing? The lighting is very effective here. Nicely done. |

Summer Swimby levyj413Comment: Jeffrey - I think you are getting robbed if you have a low score on this. Passing by I think it looks a lot like the scenes of Paris sidewalk cafes. I wish I could vote - I'd give you an 8, I think. |

Green-Snake.jpgby GotakaComment: There are some great things about this photo: it is very sharp; the colors are vibrant; the bokeh is nicely done. A few issues: the snake's head is facing away; the tall piece of bark bisects the photo. Suggestions to improve the photo w/out a re-shoot: crop a good portion of left and bottom so snake is more prominent; clone out top 1/2 of bark so bokeh is continuous across the b/g. Hope this is helpful! |
