The View from the Cloisterby SoulMan1978Comment: Great leading lines and nice detail captured in the building. Excellent exposure throughout especially in the sky. (It would have been really easy to blow out). |

I'm ready for my close-up...by SoulMan1978Comment: With all of the eagle shots in your portfolio I'd say I like this one the most. I like the catch light in the eye as well as great detail you captured. The processing you've used is simple and effective and I like the shallow DOF |

Through a Giant's Eyeby alanfreedComment: great location to shoot. In a perfect world it would be nice if you were shooting closer to sunrise or sunset.
Good exposure and great choice of aperture to get good DOF. A touch oversharpened in my opinion as I can see some minor haloing. (Not that big of a deal though). |

100 years-old cobble streetby carofoComment: I am guessing that the only reason that this didn't do better was because of the challenge and not because of the image itself. I personally think its a unique take on the challenge and you've captured it well. |

Waiting for a Trainby klkitchensComment: Really nice shot. I love the detail you shot in the penny. The leading lines of the track take the eye pleasantly through the scen. |

Oblique sunsetby alepisaComment: Really tough scene to expose for. I would try to go for a lot smaller aperture to try to give some shape to the sun. Maybe also underexpose a bit and then dodge the foreground to bring back the detail.
The tilted horizon works to a certain extent. I'd be tempted to increase the tilt more to make it appear more deliberate as this almost looks accidental. |

AT THE DOORby drphotos-dmComment: Terrific photojournalistism shot. Perhaps not something you would print out and put up on your wall however I could see this in a newspaper or a magazine. |

Royalty at Workby 777STANComment: I always find it fascinating how great macros create a miniature landscape. This one certainly does. |

Ericby AdiGriComment: A little overprocessed in my opinion e.g. There is haloing artifacts around the subject. |
