SOMEDAY we're going to have a home with a fireplace in it. Usually when we vacation we make sure there is a fireplace ... by the time we get one, I'll be too old to enjoy it!
Nice warm feel, this shot welcomes us into your room.

1 - Rocks and Downtown

Another graphic design rule is to have items placed in a way that your eyes are moved around the piece and then back around again. In other words, form a cirle. You composed this perfectly to do so, my eyes first went to the slanted rock and the icicles and then up to the waves and they lead me horizontally up to the city and over to the tree ... and back down to the slanted rock again. Masterful.

Day 3: Morro Rock

One rule in graphic design is to keep your eyes moving in a triangular pattern. You have a great thin triangle of 1) Morro Rock, 2) the shadow from the rock, and 3) that little piece of wood or stump. AND the rule works beautifully in your piece.
