This is a wonderful composition. There's a lot of life in this image: the birds in the foreground, the birds on the far bank, the birds in the sky, the amazing tree, the water lilies, and the lovely reflection. I like the soft tones.

It is really cute. Should have scored higher, but I think many voters didn't take time to understand that last words can be before sleep as well as death. I like the composition and colors and warm light.

That is an evil look in the eye, and licking the chops tops it off. The chain is good too. All together, this is a good shot of a dog to leave alone. I don't understand the low votes. Perhaps they felt is was just a backyard snapshot.

I like it. The saturation seems a little heavy on the bridge, but this is basic editing, so hard to get the sky right without overdoing the rest. Do you use selective colors when saturating? I would tone down the red and yellow just a little. But then people would probably say it's washed out. You can't please everyone.
