Reaching to the Sunby annigComment: Anne, this is an exquisite photo. The light, focus, color, and composition are superb (just not for the rule of thirds challenge). I think you would have had a much higher score if you had used this for Free Study. (No noise problem here!) |

Magnoliasby admart01Comment: All three photos are lovely, and I really like the way they are framed on the black background. 10 |

Disrespectby meyersComment: The longer I look at it the better I like it. The soft-focus building in the background gives a nice dimension to the composition. Poor Abe sitting there helplessly. The whole shot in shades of blue and blue-gray except the bird is nice, and really focuses the attention on the irony. |

Curved Spacetimeby posthumousComment: I really like the textures and colors here, and the straight chain cutting across the curved lines. |

Lunar landscapeby jackal9Comment: I've tried moon shots, and I have yet to capture this clarity and detail. It's a valid composition for the rule of thirds. I say well done, Jack. |

Balearica pavoninaby ZILAComment: Wonderful photo, but to truly illustrate the rule of thirds, the focal point (eye?) should be on an intersection of the lines. |

07:58amby BrookiedComment: Fabulous image but doesn't seem to follow the rule of thirds. Everything leads straight to the center. |
