Nice idea, but I don't feel I can see either one of them very well in this position. The image makes me twist my head right and left in order to appreciate these "perfect smiles". The lighting, focus, and DOF are all very nice. I like the texture of the short grass and their hair.

Well, there are those beautiful girls we have come to know and love! this is really nice. I like the lighting and focus, and the expressions are showing us quite a bit about their personalities.

I like the pose, but I find the harsh processing (over-sharpening?) unattractive. Also their make up is distracting -- mother's worn off lipstick, daughter's harsh streak of blush and the gloppy mascara.

Very strong family resemblance. I like the way you emphasized that with the matching colored clothing. I like the focus and DOF and their pleasant natural expressions. The lighting seems unbalanced on the two subjects -- too harsh on him (blown highlight on forehead) and too shaded on her. Also, I wish you had positioned them is such a way that the mother didn't have to crouch to get close to the boy. The posture looks unnatural and uncomfortable.

I love the setting and the quality of the image -- the composition, light, and the softness of the grass and sepia tone. I don't like the hostile expression on the blond's face. I think it detracts from the serenity and the tie between the girls. Perhaps it is directed at the intrusion of the photographer or viewer, but I would like to observe this relationship unnoticed. 8

Whoa, this makes me dizzy, but I like it. I feel like I am spinning with them. Nice clear and flattering shot of both kids.

This looks to me like the saturation was pumped up too much -- the color gradients around the highlights on both faces and the woman's arm. I like the composition, and pose. This is a good portrait showing the subjects' interest in addition to their faces, I just find the processing distracting.
