Coming back to bump to 10 - the BEST in the challenge! The HDR feel is just gorgeous and the unconventional view of the bird just presents so powerfully the "Wings" idea. What a great capture. Your title just brings it all together: Anna Pavlova would have been smitten!

I have come back to this again and have decided that I really do like the blown out space....making this a "negative space" image. The bird is clear and the detail to the left of the image is lovely. Love those outstretched toes.

I actually really like this concept - and the B+W...just about everything: except that her feet look so awkward....something not quite picturesque about them: typical ballet pointed toes might have been more appealing. I think I would have given this a 10 if not for those feet...they almost turn the image into something of the burlesque - a kind of parody of "flying", which is a shame because this might have been genuinely beautiful.
