Day 7 - Truffle Dreamby baco99Comment: Because it has chocolate in it :-) Have you tried putting some sort of filter over the flash to soften it? Homemade could work if you feel like experimenting (tissue paper, for example) before investing in a softbox or the like. |

BTW, check your camera manual to see if you can adjust the flash output; I can set mine to put out less power than it thinks necessary if it's washing things out. |

a sticky symbiosisby posthumousComment: Not what I typically think of as sticky but it makes sense. The sudden end of the branch is disconcerting. Not sure that's a bad thing as it makes it more evident that the fungi are in a perilous position. I'm seeing a bit of haloing around the fungi and they are a little soft to be the focal point of the image. |

Sticky lights and a bootby marvinComment: Not doing much for me as an image; lights don't have that much impact against what appears to be a lot of lights in the background. |
