In Every Hallway by JeniYComment: Unique POV and excellent photo for this challenge. Her expression and her being withdrawn in her hood is perfect for conveying a kid who doesn't feel she's part of what's happening around her. |

Reunionby EBJonesComment: That's sad. His slumped body language and hidden face contribute mightily to the mood, and your title is perfect. |

A Lone Nutby PGerstComment: Great title :-))) Nice composition, lighting, DOF, and great concept for the challenge. |

Alone but Not for Longby aberrationComment: Oh, I love the look on her face! She has spied her unsuspecting victim. Probably just to give him a menu or ask, "How ya' doin' honey? More pie?" but some kind of interaction is clearly about to occur. |

Warmed by an Invisible Sunby DrAchooComment: This illustrates the challange nicely and is also a lovely shot with the frost on the leaves. One of those shots that gets better and better the longer I look at it :-) |

Singled Outby jschroComment: Perfect DOF! The green one would have stood out anyway but gets extra oomph from the focus. I like the curvy line of the composition. Nit: there's a little too much space on top; it feels like it would be better balanced if the pins in the back were at a sharper angle instead of straightening out. |

(o)(o) by ralphComment: By far the best of the pencil/crayon/marker shots. Feels incredibly crowded by the similarities of all those brown pencils, every last one of them in focus, and then the white one just jumps right out as being different. Perfectly illustrates the challenge concept, IMO. |

Eggs Benedict Arnoldby bobbyt71Comment: That whisk is adorable. I really like how the eggs surround him but maintain much more space around him than from each other. He does have an out; perhaps he should take it ;-) Very nicely lit shot, in addition to the careful composition. Only nit is a speck of something on the bottom of the 2nd egg from the right that needs scraping off. |
