Little Big Hornby Len ScapComment: Beautiful shot. It doesn't look like there is nearly enough ledge there to support him! |

The Gathering by karenkComment: ROFLOL! I love this. My clear favorite in the challenge for humor and storytelling. Sea Gulls always seem to have attitude in spades and you captured that perfectly using this straight-on perspective and enough DOF to single out the leader of the gang. The title is icing on the cake. Well done :-))) |

Majesticby Mark-AComment: Beautiful image with great light and detail that really does show off his majesty. I really couldn't ask for more in a wildlife shot! |

The Frog Kingby HipychikComment: This should have finished higher! Getting a frog to pose wearing any kind of crown is an accomplishment. This fellow is obviously the patient type (or is practicing to be a movie star when he grows up). Hope he got a treat for this (although if it was a mealworm or anything similar I don't need to know the details). |

"The Little Old Lady"by twotkynsComment: She looks a little, um, doggy. Couldn't find the text of the tale when I Googled so I'll just assume she's supposed to look that way.
A bit overprocessed for me but I like the darkness for a Grimm tale. |

"I tell you the TRUTH! Tom Thumb DID ride on my back!"by LydiaComment: Is that a baby turtle? Or tortoise, maybe. What beautifully expressive eyes. I'm going to be so disappointed if that's not real! Not sure how he fits into the fairy tale (the version I read just had Tom sleeping in a snail shell) but he's adorable.
Don't think I've ever seen two such critters together. Very, very cool. |
