Civico 18 by Rino63Comment: This is the kind of shot that makes me want to know more, like why the chair is there, and why that chair with its spindly little legs next to the massively solid stones of the wall and street. There is a story here and I'm left to imagine it. |

The Mantisby Pug-HComment: He looks rather aristocratic, in a bug-gy sort of way. Nice detail and DOF. I especially like the pattern made by his shadow. |

as the fog liftsby EstimatedEyesComment: I like the scene and that little patch of sunlight reflecting off the water. It looks more cloudy than foggy to me but the mood is of the light just coming through or fading away ... either way a transition from light to dark. |

It's Her Bench During The Winterby J-MeComment: Good thing she's wearing a heavy coat. She looks a little ... imperious, I think. I like the composition although I think I like it a little better with the bottom cropped tighter. You lose the snow but I like the spot where that cat ends up that way. |

The Bench Where Time Stood Stillby hotpastaComment: The exposure works well to draw my eye but then I jump to the hanging thingy and the light in the arches, which is yellow on one side and peachy on the other and has areas of sharp focus. I think I would like this much better in straight black and white and either cropped tighter on top or with a different DOF so the arches weren't competing for my attention. |

Emptyby phloverComment: Lines made by the benches are kind of cool, but I wonder if a different angle might make for a more interesting shot, maybe with more convergence of the lines or some detail on a foreground bench and the lines slowly fading out of focus. |
