I love the Little Blue Herons; I think they're much prettier than the Great Blues. I kinda' want a little less DOF to make him stand out better but it's a very nice capture.

They go in the water? Cool! I've only seen our White-tailed Deer stand at the edge of a body of water to drink, but never actually in the water. Nice composition on this.

It's amazing what these guys can do! I had one bird feeder in a sort of cage which made it hard for them to get the food out with their paws. They soon figured out that if they pushed it diagonally the food would start to pour out of the openings the birds use to eat! When I finally caught one doing it I understood why the seed was disappearing so fast from that feeder ;-)
