| Nice colors. The DOF is a little much. I can never get herons to stay around long enough to take pictures of. |

| I love the Little Blue Herons; I think they're much prettier than the Great Blues. I kinda' want a little less DOF to make him stand out better but it's a very nice capture. |

| Is it really that colour?! These are so unlike the Grey herons we get here in the UK. What sort of size are they? The British heron stands about 4 foot tall - this looks quite a lot smaller, but I don't know the vegetation, so scale is difficult to judge. |

Wowsa they are Blue!! ours are anemic:).. i never have good luck w these guies.. Always at such a distance and the minute i zoom in away they go..

i agree with Marion
its so hot here at the moment that all the wildlife is in hiding
we are expecting 4 days of above 40 degC here

| I'm glad I'm not the only one finding the wildlife elusive. That is a really nice shot. It really shows up the blue of his plumage. |
