A super photo of these Roe deer. I see these from time to time here in England, but they are very shy and skittish - most of the photos are of their white backsides disappearing into woodland! With this photo I particularly like the way each of the deer is looking in a different direction - I wonder if this is a sort of herd instinct, covering all bases in the watch for danger and predators. |

The soft green background sets them off wonderfully well. Nice DOF, too. |

This is very nice, partly because of the even green background and foreground. They were very aware that you were there. I see that you shot this at 500mm. That makes the depth of field very evident in the grass around the deer, which is nice too. |
