The other side...by TerramarComment: This is a very thought-provoking photo. At first glance I was disappointed, until I studied it further, saw ALL the figures, and made up my own story about it. The composition is rather static (some sort of diagonal would have helped), but I like the colours and the mood. |

Tentaclus - a Nebulan jellyfishby naomikComment: Curiously out of focus, yet it doesn't matter - that's just how this looks. I'd almost prefer a more neutral title, since I didn't think "jellyfish" when I saw this. Lovely abstract, great for the challenge, nice colours........ love it! |

Solaris by LevTComment: Paperweight?
This one is my favourite in the challenge. I love the abstract nature, the colours, the light, the hint of reflections...... the whole thing! |

Giant Man-Eating Lizard from Marsby toddheadComment: I admit those things look bizarre (yet I can still see beauty there), but you are relying very heavily on the title to make this fit this challenge. Great shot of the lizard, though! |

On Safariby SJCarterComment: I have a bit of a problem with the way the ostrich "disects" the zebra - i.e. the composition is not what it could be.
However, you got a nice close-up of the bird which is always a good thing - and the zebra looks good, too :-) |

where's mom?by shadiaComment: They are very cute, but the photo is a bit small and the focus is better on the grass in the very foreground than it is on the subjects. |

Incognitoby kking9Comment: The color combination is striking, the cat beautiful and in focus.
However, I am one of those "in the box" people who welcome and respect challenge descriptions, and I'm afraid I can not accept this as a photo where the "bird is the main subject". |

Hey stop that boat - they took our fish!!!by lastefComment: yes, you have some birds in this shot. They are those tiny little things on top of a large rock in an even larger body of water, which contains a very interestingly colored boat, in front of BIG, magnificent mountains.
The photo is VERY beautiful, but IMO those birds have no hope of being the MAIN SUBJECT, as called for in the challenge description. |
