Pick-A-Pairby YoungerComment: You have a good idea going here, but the glare from the flash is annoying. This would look so much better with different lighting (especially including lighting from the side to give depth). |

Soft Shoesby MikeOComment: This wouldn't do you much good as advertising, but I like it a lot for this challenge. We get to see enough to know what we're looking at, but the soft focus gives them some mystique, too. |

Kenneth Cole, New Yorkby banmornComment: The background is far too busy for these shoes. The shoes themselves have so much detail - the many skinny straps, plus the patterns ON those straps, heel, colors etc. A calm surface and background would let the shoes stand out a lot more. |

In My Father's Shoesby byshenComment: What I like about this photo: The composition, the cute kid, the lovely gentle sunlight, the perspective that makes the boots look even bigger that they would if taken from another angle.
What I don't like: the very crooked horizon, the shadow on the rock (made by the photographer, I assume?) and the worried look on Junior's face. |

Leading Linesby duncesComment: I have NO problems with nudity where it makes sense, but in this case there is no point to it. It is totally offtopic and adds nothing to the photo in any way.
Your subject seems to be the striped stockings, the rest is just.... well....... there. |

It's all about the flamesby lissylouComment: hmmm..... the shoe in this photo doesn't quite manage to be the subject of the photo - it is rather hard to see and quite overwhelmed by its surroundings. But appreciate the effort. |

Mom, where's my shoes?by rr_meyerComment: I am trying to see something - ANYTHING - more than a very hasty snapshot in this photo, but I'm not succeeding. This is just a quick snap that isn't even clear focus :-( |

Guiness World's Largest!by noryComment: I'm glad you included the person in this to show us the scale of the grand-daddies of all shoes. There are a few technical problems with this (glare, composition), but I imagine you were very limited by the room you were in. Certainly on topic! |

Mothers best friendby joggi20Comment: The photo is too small, and not terribly interesting. Perhaps including something other than the sole would have helped. I don't get the title, sorry :-( |
