This is lovely. How did you get it looking so clean - punch out the window? *g*

What a wonderfully different view. The post processing looks interesting, too - is that something like a radial blur? I'll have to check your notes after the rollover.

Nice play of light and shadow. A bit more red than I would have expected, but a very eyecatching pic. 8

Good job. It may not be the most exotic of wildlife, but you took a nice photo with great DOF. 8

I"m afraid they are just a little bit too far away to make a very successful photo.

This is a wonderful subject. If you had zoomed in a little closer from a slightly different angle, you wouldn't have as much overexposed area.

Interesting close up, but the bright areas on the left are distracting. The fence is a real problem, since we're trying to believe that you have captured WILDLIFE.

Close ups that fill the frame like this can be very successful. Most of their beauty comes from seeing tiny details that we normally don't get to see in crisp, sharp focus.
Unfortunately this photo is too soft/OOF to really enjoy those details.

Your actual subject - the bird - takes up a very very small portion of the photo. I don't understand (or like) the yellow background.

Wonderful idea, but the execution could have been better. The focus doesn't look quite right, and perhaps a different angle would have brought out the web a bit more. A fill flash would have shown more detail, too, I think.

One hint I read is to spray sugar water onto the web...... supposedly it makes the water drops sit there ever so nicely.
