Bookwormby lambie83Comment: It might be ineresting to shoot this with a different, more interesting setting - perhaps seating the subject at a desk or at a library or something would have made this more interesting... I don't know. Just a thought! :) I like the idea you have here though. |

The-Sitting-Room.jpgby LanndonKaneComment: I LOVE the atmosphere here... For some reason it makes me think of the ocean, as though maybe the windows are facing the sea. Glorious lighting! :) |

by LanndonKaneComment: I love the spooky, surreal feel to this. The clown seems to be almost popping off the picture... as if maybe he's not really there, but something you're imagining. Like if you move your eyes, he won't leave your vision but will stay there in front of your eyes, like those spots when you've stared at the lamp too long. Silly I know, but that's what I thought of. ;) |

Sophisticated Doggieby thalassaComment: Very nice lighting - I like the stark contrasts here. The composition could use a bit more work perhaps, and also something to watch out for in future shots is the glasses... notice how they've made a "double" of the doggie's eyes. Manipulating the angle of the camera might have solved this problem. Nice shot though! :) |

Never can have too much funby alohacarrotComment: Here's my two cents... :)
First of all, the image looks a little bit grainy. I've noticed sometimes that when I convert the image to black and white, that I'll get the same grain on my images. I have no idea what the original shot looked like of course, but perhaps the color one would have worked better. Secondly the composition is rather akward. Half of the photo is the black lap-top screen. If there had been any way to move that out of the way that might have helped increase the impact of the photo. Also, there appears to be something that almost looks like dust on the right side of the photo.
I hope this was helpful... I REALLY like the joyous expression you have captured on the woman's face - beautiful! :) |
