Got it! mushrooms always look so alien to me, & I like the inedible color & flesh texture against the tree-bark. But guess where my eye went--to the tree-bark, for the satisfyingly artistic detail. [eta] an adjustment in curves would probably make a difference. Looks like the kind of comp that would respond very well to all kinds of artistic experimentation. "D Keep on clickin'!

This was a big surprise when I clicked it open. Strong graphic reads well as a thumb & equally well fullsize. The color is perfect! [eta] I came back to look again, drawn by such an interesting thumbnail. Wow!

Day 15: Swans

swans are delightful, I hope you get a good shot of the chicks. we have a pair on a small lake close to work, & I often see their white shapes glowing in the dim light at sunset. inspiring. for me, trying to get a good picture of a swan is about like trying to shoot the moon. "D

hooray for overlays! I've been enjoying your series & today I will catch up on comments. Hope you have a lovely weekend! I like the stormy/moody feel to this. At first I thought the canal was a road. The power pole/lines add a perfect touch to increase the desolation feeling. Keep on clickin'!
