Gloryby JutildaComment: I love flower shots & this is a beauty. FG blur works very well to help tell the story of a day in this flower's life (waiting for the bees & butterflies). FG blur is a challenge, this is great. |

the littlest witchby JutildaComment: Well, I thought of a hat, too. But it's easy to ignore all that black in favor of the Mona Lisa smile & those serious eyes. |

2-oct 2010 anything goes. threadby rozComment: This interesting shot inspired me to get up & find something to clean my glasses. hehe. It put me in mind of the works of Andrew Wyeth. I like the way you're using light & shadow to define the figure, & the touch of blush to bring out that sweet little face & fingers. |

Tuckby colorcarnivalComment: Congrats on your score, this is lovely, with the way the different surfaces respond to the light. White-on-white is always lovely, this one is special. "D |

Dinner à Deuxby GermaineComment: Love it! Better even than telling me a story, I love photos that exercise my imagination to make up the story for myself. They seem alone, together, thinking separate but related private thoughts. So the story I made up was that his wife & her boyfriend (not in the photo) are having an affair. |

Brosby GermaineComment: I was drawn to this for the sense of late-night artificial light & when I clicked it open I loved the funny little details, the sense of air over their heads, the surfboards, & most of all the moving fan. Well done!
Now, if only we could upload straight from our phone to this thread. They're going to have to pry my iPhone from my cold, dead hand someday. I love the instant gratification, they way it connects me to everything all the time. And I love the way people react to it, allowing me to get interesting candid shots & video. |
