Can we discuss stuff like that in this thread? It would be wonderful!
The maximum of lovely, delicious light in this shot. Well done! Message edited by author 2015-01-04 23:58:05. |

Leafby ElaineComment: Ah! reminds me of my efforts to shoot elephant ears, they have a highly textured surface that made it difficult to achieve what looked like a sharp shot, except at a distance. Love this beautiful leaf. Can't figure out the light, though. Interesting. |

Week 1: My Houseby AnnComment: A full palette of greys on this neat house. From your notes, you have a darkroom set up. You are having lots of fun, it looks like. |

number one by sfaliceComment: Hi Alice!
Took me a while to see turkeys. Not saying that's what was there, just that it's what I see. I enjoyed the color very much & the mental exercise of finding my subject. For me, that's one of the most enjoyable aspects of viewing an abstract. It lets me participate in the creation of the composition, which makes it much more interesting, real, & personal.
This one feels gentle & yet very lively, very easy & rewarding to look at. What will you show us next? |

Rodney PAW week1by HornOUBetComment: Sweet face. Intelligent, intense eyes, good eye contact with the camera. Those ears look as soft as silk.
I'm curious how far away you were. He's aware of you, but not disturbed out of his relaxation. I find it tricky to get a nice shot of my dog, I haven't found the proper distance. He's asleep in my lap right now, under the keyboard. Message edited by author 2015-01-04 22:38:17. |

PaW Week 1by CuttoothComment: Oh I do love an iPhone pano. The slight distortion is very interesting to my eye. Did you get the 360 app? |

Forest's Edgeby rooumComment: FWIW I liked it fine & I'm glad you entered it. More people liked it than didn't (by the votes). Too bad about the DQ, though. |

Fisherman with a Seagull by MargaretNetComment: Congratulations on the ribbon & the score. Looks like most people would've voted not to DQ this. I'm glad you posted it. Thanks! |
