Severe crop, fractilius + original + blending mode.

All those photographers saw the patterns and form correctly. Indeed this is a tiny crop & processed image of a flock of wild turkeys on the flank of Mt. Diablo. Beautiful creatures.

This is beautiful, Alice. We have several flocks of these amazing birds just up the road from us. I never considering an abstract rendition, but your image is truly inspiring :)

I'm not usually a fan of abstract, but this one draws me in! Love the colors and shapes too!

Nice processing with all the bright colors. My first thought was pheasants, never seen wild turkeys in real life...

Yep, birds - turkeys or quail or some such - is what I saw immediately. Great colors.

I love the abstract treatment - and the rich colours. It took me a while to see the birds.

I'm also guessing turkeys. Nice color saturation

Looks like turkeys to me too. We have a ton of 'em around here, and they're not too shy at all. Tough birds. Love the abstract, Alice.

Hi Alice!

Took me a while to see turkeys. Not saying that's what was there, just that it's what I see. I enjoyed the color very much & the mental exercise of finding my subject. For me, that's one of the most enjoyable aspects of viewing an abstract. It lets me participate in the creation of the composition, which makes it much more interesting, real, & personal.

This one feels gentle & yet very lively, very easy & rewarding to look at. What will you show us next?
