 Oops- this is what happens when you go away for a few days pre-Christmas. Totally missed the request for the original. Never mind. Looking at the image again perhaps it would have been a DQ anyway. It's the first time I've used a texture in advanced and I'm not sure if this texture is 'creating' the sky in some way? It does look like the texture is giving the impression of stars I guess.
Disqualification Details
You must retain your original, unedited file (exactly as recorded by your camera), and provide it to the Site Council along with a list of your editing steps within 48 hours of any validation request. Files that have been saved or altered with any editing or transfer software are NOT originals.

FWIW I liked it fine & I'm glad you entered it. More people liked it than didn't (by the votes). Too bad about the DQ, though.

Beautiful creation. In this particular challenge I would hope that that texture wouldn't have warranted a DQ. I think a lot of other entries strayed further from advanced techniques.
