Abstract #3by sfaliceComment: Have you ever watched that TV show Life After People? 'Cos that was my first thought, when I looked at this! I see one of those depressing all-concrete limited access areas at the edge of a freeway on-ramp, only all overgrown because there are no people. The electricity hasn't failed yet, so the traffic lights are glowing through the overgrowth. I would title it On-ramp to the Apocalypse. Or Approaching the Apocalypse. Or...I think the vines are trying to spell ""Help Me".
My PP eye thinks maybe the colors got Reversed or Sampled. Message edited by author 2015-01-18 12:15:34. |

abstract #2by sfaliceComment: Butterflies from Hell. Dangerously attractive. They look burnt. Is this what it's like to be a moth & fly into a candle flame? Message edited by author 2015-01-13 18:24:41. |

San Francisco Pierby DigiFotoBuddyComment: I like the foreground, the way the reflection is broken up by the pavement. But you know on my screen it looks very crunchy & I see what look like sharpening halos all over the place, except the clouds. Might be my screen, though. |

02 - Woodby hajekaComment: You know, I did this with toothpicks once. I ended up with a piece of fine sandpaper, smoothing the point of each toothpick, one at a time. The fuzzy, splintered details kill me. I need brain therapy! |

Eat more Vegetables and Lose Weight!by LydiaComment: Grilled or roasted veggies are so good! A childhood of tasteless, limp overcooked veggies has left me with a lot to make up for. Try this: quarter the brussels sprouts, put them in a bag with olive oil, salt, pepper, & crushed habanero pepper & use the bag to coat all pieces evenly. Place on a baking sheet at 350 until they smell good--not long at all. Good hot or cold. In my childhood they were boiled at length & then drowned in melted butter & lemon--slimy, greasy, squishy things. Oh! your photograph! well done, then, looks very appetizing. Inspiring. |

Solve the Puzzle of Photoshopby illini75Comment: On my monitor, this has a lot of crunchy detail. I'm hoping after the challenge is over I can click on a "view full size image" link & see it in all it's true glory. Which is how I voted--as if there were no crunchies. I have a feeling this is beautiful & it would indeed make a great puzzle. |
