Not positive. Tiger lily have a medicinal purpose.
They help congestion and nausea of morning sickness.

Lactuca serriola 2by lynnmarieComment: Way to make an ugly plant beautiful! This is what was growing (very quickly) outside my kitchen window. Joe and I decided to let it grow and see how tall it would get before flowering. Joe nicknamed it the beanstalk because it was growing 4" a day! It went all the way to the roof overhang before my son tackled it. |

Phelps Grove Parkby ElaineComment: I haven't actually been 'in' Phelps grove park because of its reputation. ;) Maybe they cleaned it up since then. This sure is a lovely garden.
Springfield has quite a few lovely parks now. Nathaniel greene is one of my favorites!

bwsun.jpgby liltritterComment: I would vote this around a 7. The back lighting is harsh but acceptable. You still have detail in most of the petals. The contrast is pretty good. I love the heart in the middle of the flower but its to bland. it needs to pop. try dodging the area just in the heart to separate it from the surrounding texture. |
