| Would have given it a 6. Nice and crisp and I do like the backlight, although I would like to have seen a bit more light on the center of the flower. Love the nice black and white treatment - has a nice tonal range. Love the heart in the center of the flower, and I would have been tempted to make that more the focus. I don't like the very centered composition here, it doesn't add to the image for me. |

| I would vote this around a 7. The back lighting is harsh but acceptable. You still have detail in most of the petals. The contrast is pretty good. I love the heart in the middle of the flower but its to bland. it needs to pop. try dodging the area just in the heart to separate it from the surrounding texture. |

| Well, if this lacks for you I can't help as I think it's very nice!! Good luck. For me it's an 8, I love the textures and the the lighting and the contrasts, very nice shot!! Great B&W!!! |
