Take the Stairsby posthumousComment: Really nice picture. I really like the competing lines in both color and direction. I also love how the dog seems to match the neutral gray's so evenly. Feels like a 3 tone shot. Cool stuff. |

Silver Pheasantby skewsmeComment: Wow. Look at that detail. Now I am getting jealous of that sexy lens. Terrific comp, wonderful focus. I really like how the head/beak follows the curve or the rooster's rear. Congrats on the score and placement too. |

I Walk Because I Cannot Flyby colorcarnivalComment: Wow, a bird picture that is quite unusual but still well done. I really like the different angle here, but more impressed that you still composed it extremely well. The puddle...it's what makes the picture work. |

O^2by quiet_observationComment: I really like the setup here. The various shapes and the lone person really make this exciting. One thing I have noticed about my own shots lately, and what I think might apply here is that it is a bit flat. Not in the contrast per say, but in the dimensions. I have noticed that my shots that a lot of the action/interest is on a single plane. I think that may be why this scored lower in the challenge here. Perhaps some in the bottom right on the ground would have given it bit more ummph. Just a guess though, I talk the talk sometimes but rarely do the walking ;) As for the actual content and post work on the shot it is truly amazing. It really is a wonderful fit to the challenge and should have done much better. |

Concrete Wrapped in Fogby Bruce_the_RobertComment: I really like the hard edge style. Very modern feeling and compliments the surrounding architecture nicely. I would have been proud myself to have taken such a photo. |

Tale of Two Bridgesby meyersComment: Hmmm, surprised this did not do better. Very good synergy between the bridge and the birds. It is like architecture reflected in nature. Kind of a bummer on the score. Well thought out and a good fit for the challenge. |
