 This was taken when I had Nikon Gear at the Richmond Park GTG

Nikon D200 with the ED80-400mmVR

I like this shot a lot. My best I think was already submitted into a challenge, although I do have other shots from the same day it would of been totally obvious that it was my shot (the goat pic with shaggy coat). This shot has a very mystical, magical feeling to it that I adore, I hope the voters can feel the same way too.

Sorry you didn't reach your dream score, but this is a great photo -- one of my 10s this round. I sort of want to raise the camera half an inch, but I respect your composition. Out of curiosity, would like to know what the black spot is above the deer on the left. It looks like a bird is sitting on his back, but that couldn't be so, could it?

This is interesting. I like the tone, and the softness, but I guess I'm not certain about the "story" the image is trying to tell.

This almost feels like it has too many subjects in it - two groups of deer, two horses, two people... my eyes aren't quite sure where to rest. But I really like the scene you've captured here. It makes me wonder what the story behind the photo is, and who the people are. And this certainly has a powerful, silent atmosphere to it, and the quality of light that you've captured here is exqisite. Overall, I really, really like it. an 8 from me. :)
