Victoria Towerby CaravelaComment: Whatever - everything looks 'at 100%' to me and not 'selective'. Quit nitpicking yourself and take the ribbon! |

King of the branchby SouthCoastOr3gonComment: Hi Jason,
I've not participated much lately at DPC and I'm sorry I didn't vote in this challenge. I picked your photo as my Blue Ribbon. I thought most of the other entries were 'snap-shot-ish' and too much 'in the box'. You took advantage of the 'Expert' edit to create something different AND your subjects of the photo made a person have to use that...ummm...what do you call it? Oh, Brain! Hmmm...no wonder...people need to look past the obvious - something painfully difficult I think these days. Anyway - great work. I really like it. The focus is excellent and the title is trophy! |

Long Trek Through Butt Canyonby commendatoriComment: My pick for the winner and the only 10 I handed out. Great job - it really caught my eye. The small, thumbnail version looks very, very realistic. I wonder why that one Cowboy passed out? Probably vapors seeping up from Butt Canyon! Ha ha, couldn't help myself - pardon me. Anyway, great work and good luck to ya! |

Day 24 - Hoover Damby ephlnComment: Hi Eve,
Thanks for relating your daughters comment about my 'Fly By Night' photo. It didn't do to well in that particular challenge but it was fun to 'make'. I must admit, I haven't participated in many challenges lately - I've been to busy doing purely Aviation Photography. I must say I admire your dedication to your floral photography - it's really good. But this photo caught my eye as it's close to home. Great job and I love the B&W. I just hope the water levels don't fall to much more, they've just recently moved a whole boat pier due to the falling water levels. A local and hopefully not globally problem but I'm afraid it is. Thanks again and take care. Please say hello and 'Thanks! to your daughter for me!

Pitcher Day 17 by riversongComment: Wow is right! Some 'jaggies' around the rim, maybe use some selective blur (?) to take it away but otherwise I think it's absolutely splendid. Nice work! |
