Kiss the Girlby wanjunComment: First let me say I like the overall picture. I just can't decide which story this tells. Is she the princess you need to kiss to wake up? Or with the veins in her eyes and the green tint to her lips, is she getting ready to poison her kisser? |

Five Magic Beansby EstimatedEyesComment: Im not really keen on the processing. Makes it look too much like a painting. If you take that away I would have loved this. The natural texture of the skin and the beans. The selective desat works well. |

Hansel and Grettelby GeneralEComment: Great texture in the leaves. This would have really rocked me if the shoes where brown boots or something along those lines that fit the historical aspect of this tale a little better. Other than those sneakers this perspective with the crumb being the main focus is a really great take on this challenge. |

Princess out of placeby Yo_SpiffComment: The dress is very colorful. This picture isn't getting me for the simple fact that I feel like its a shot you caught somewhere and said oh, I can make it fit the challenge somehow. As a photograph I like the processing, the soft glowy feel is nice. |

Faerie Landby banmornComment: Very cute. Imo the bokeh in the background is very complimentary, however the colors are not. I would love to see this with the background selected and desaturated and then toned in to be just a bit lighter than the fairy's skin. |

Straight to Grandma's house...and no picking flowers!by ullageComment: I love the lighting in that forest. It really makes you feel like there could be a big bad wolf waiting for you. Imo, the composition feels a little off, the foggy area on the top are a little distracting, and that wonderfully creepy forest is fighting with the green of the forground for attention. The concept is perfect! |

Snow White and the Appleby AngadeonComment: Imo, it meets the challenge. But it really doesn't fit well to me. Her surroundings give away to more of a modern day back yard feel. There are too many different types of plants here. So instead of noticing the story I am drawn to the plants instead. I think this would have worked better just grass or even in a pile of leaves. |

After the Ballby ErikVComment: I am a fan of selective desat, so the color and tones work well for me. I just don't feel this picture though. I don't know if its the mannequin or the barbed wire/christmas lights around the window, jmo. |

Mirror Mirrorby TiNComment: Great concept. I love the vines around the mirror. The flame pulls away from the greater subject imo. |
