I think this is a really good composition. The pale green is striking against the dark earth. For me an example of "found" art. Good job. If you wanted to get crazy about it you could clone out some of the random bits and possibly burn (darken) the outside area to further draw attention to the leaf, but this is very nice as is.

Jonathan, I'm sorry to see you got disqualified. I was hoping you could avoid it. It's a shame you weren't around to supply the original photo, though who knows if that would have done any good. You entered a good photo you can be proud of, regardless.

Tez, I think this is a cool photo, but also probably in the fives, as voters are very unforgiving of softness. There is something enigmatic about it that I like, though. When you're famous, you can get away with this! :-)

It's rare I think that a "negative" image works like this. What's interesting to me is how the glass looks normal while the shells look surreal. Good job.

Great idea! It would be good to have a little out-of-focus print in the foreground, too, perhaps putting the focal point closer to one of the rule-of-third gridlines.
