Rain Over Bangkokby BobsterLobsterComment: The pp is maybe a little extreme, incl. possible over-shharpening, but the result is stunning. A high score from me. |

Day 7 - Flowerby Bruce_the_RobertComment: The noise makes for a great texture, really highlighted by the b&w. This is very beautiful. I love happy accidents. :-) |

Fallenby ElaineComment: I think this is a really good composition. The pale green is striking against the dark earth. For me an example of "found" art. Good job. If you wanted to get crazy about it you could clone out some of the random bits and possibly burn (darken) the outside area to further draw attention to the leaf, but this is very nice as is. |

"My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?"by figaroComment: Jonathan, I'm sorry to see you got disqualified. I was hoping you could avoid it. It's a shame you weren't around to supply the original photo, though who knows if that would have done any good. You entered a good photo you can be proud of, regardless.

The Passengerby TezComment: Tez, I think this is a cool photo, but also probably in the fives, as voters are very unforgiving of softness. There is something enigmatic about it that I like, though. When you're famous, you can get away with this! :-) |

Day 6 - Untitledby Bruce_the_RobertComment: Rob, this is an interestingly non-symmetrical composition, though the stark lighting detracts. I'd say this is your first weak effort of the week, but don't despair - they can't all be brilliant! :-D

Day-6-Needled-048.jpgby JerseyGenieComment: Jeanne, I love the colors and the composition, my only quibble is I'd like to see more sharpness on the needle point. |

Day 6 - Shell Jarby rox_roxComment: It's rare I think that a "negative" image works like this. What's interesting to me is how the glass looks normal while the shells look surreal. Good job. |

Day 6 - Piece of paperby nikolaosComment: Great idea! It would be good to have a little out-of-focus print in the foreground, too, perhaps putting the focal point closer to one of the rule-of-third gridlines.

6. Something very worryingby suemackComment: Very interesting photo, Sue. I love the out-of-focus crowd. If you don't mind sharing it, could you let us know how you achieved this particular tint? Thanks,
