| I like the idea behind this one with the fresh leaf on the dark ground, and how the leaf still looks so healthy. As I look around the shot though, something feels odd about it. I think it's the shadows on the leaf caused by the stem and veins, which would seem to indicate a bright sunny day, yet the overall tone of the colors feels cloudy and muted. Maybe I just read too much into things though :) |

| Ahhhhh, another person who obviously likes leaves. Funny how I'm just drawn to them. And how really well they work as photo subjects. Nice job. The light green and the dark moist earth are a great pairing. |

| I think this is a really good composition. The pale green is striking against the dark earth. For me an example of "found" art. Good job. If you wanted to get crazy about it you could clone out some of the random bits and possibly burn (darken) the outside area to further draw attention to the leaf, but this is very nice as is. |
