7/7 - Modern Meccaby RebeccaComment: Really funny, it does have a prison-look to it, aided by the rather drab desaturated colors around it. Looks like good country to hike around! |

Day No. 16by GermaineComment: I admit, that's the same expression I get if I see someone pointing a camera at me! Yet how else do you get good, natural candids? The b&w and and the somewhat angry expression on the driver make an excellent combination. |

steppenwolfby tapcityComment: Hi, I was one of your "8s" on this. It may have had some technical problems that others found displeasing, but to me it really is nightmarish. It took me awhile to figure out the perspective -- just like in a dream. Plus the guy (you?) shirtless and with the beard looks a bit like a wildman. |

Day 15: Half of a Doubleby cginoComment: Terrific photo. Love that wide lens. Lots of interesting things going on in the sky, even without the rainbows. I like seeing the bit of road and habitation to the left, it gives this a sense of scale.
Even though your double rainbow is half gone, it seems much more vibrant than the one I once spotted over the Hudson River. |

A Flight of Fancy by Jaded_HousewifeComment: Congratulations on your blue ribbon. I'm happy to have been one of your 10's (the only 10 I gave out in this challenge). I'm normally not a fan of IR either, but you chose the perfect challenge for it.

Day 13: Portrait of a Fishermanby Blue MoonComment: Very good composition, and I agree with you about the colors. There's a lot of grain/noise, which doesn't detract too much, but I wonder if some selective denoising would clean that up. It's odd, but to me there's something about the fisherman and his rock that makes them appear to have been superimposed on the scene (not that I think they really were). |

Day 14: Impressionist's Creekby Blue MoonComment: Very pretty photo. Perhaps it would be nice to have a still/sharp reference point (I don't know, just thinking "aloud"). I like the soft colors and the bit of orange, which I assume is a fish. It is indeed like an impressionist painting. |

Day 13 - Grafitti comentaryby bimbleComment: I agree, graffiti should at least have a purpose. Good catch. The only Nikes I ever bought squeaked so terribly after a week that I was embarrassed to wear them. |

Day 17 - perspectiveby bimbleComment: Very nice perspective with the receding towers. Beautiful (and natural) colors with the sunlit foreground against the darkened sky. Excellent, especially considering it was taken presumbably through windowglass of a moving train. |

Day 16 Foxby jonfrommkComment: That's a really neat weathervane. Good photo though it tilts to the right - rotating a few degrees would take care of that, though of course you'd lose some of the edges.
If Samuel Pepys were alive today, would he have a public blog?
