Concrete Angelby spinnerComment: I thought this was an excellent photo. Could have mopped up the competition in the upcoming "Wings" challenge! I wondered if you and Duckyb shot your photos together! |

15 Forksby pixelpigComment: I'm not following this mini-challenge closely, but my first impression is that the color photos should all be in one row or maybe staggered one per row (and the peapod without a fork doesn't seem to belong). They stand out, but I like them. Otherwise I'm impressed with the beautiful tones of the other images. |

Day 48 - Rusty boyby bs-photosComment: The white is just a teensy bit blown out on the left(from window light?). Otherwise, good exposure and great clarity -- I love the texture of the nose fur and the hint of the pink mouth. He looks very relaxed! He is a pretty boy, too. |

Day-49.jpgby KenComment: I'll be seeing a lot of corn next week when I drive across Indiana and Illinois. Hope to get some decent photos. This has a somewhat ominous feeling. Good clarity. I assume you used a tripod and there wasn't much breeze. The sky looks more natural to me than in your HDR photo with the river.
Congrats on the new lens. What a thoughtful present! |

Day-48.jpgby KenComment: What a dramatic rendering. Very other-worldly, like some night-illuminating flower. I hadn't guessed the water wasn't real (though the size of the ripples should have tipped me off). Good experiment! Sorry to hear about the mosquitoes. :-/ |

Meet Brooks (Day 47)by karmatComment: I had never heard of either RSV or Kawasaki Syndrome, but I googled them for an explanation. I admit reading about his encounter with the kindergarten teacher makes me uncomfortable. Sounds like he was cut a lot of slack due to his early illnesses.
Nice photo, especially the composition. It looks as if he's considering a dangerous leap.
