Once again you get to check out Mr. Rusty, he's my one & only model that will (usually) sit still long enough for me to get a good shot.
Ain't he a handsome little devil! lol
We're going to start calling him the Mad Catter, he keeps catching mice in our shop (it's like a warehouse in the back for all the electrical stuff, my boyfriend runs our graphics shop & his moms electrical store which are all in the same building). I was going to post a pic of a dead mouse, but it was just a little too gross.

Look at him! He doesn't seem to mind that you are right there with the camera. Beautiful animal portrait - love the orange background.

The white is just a teensy bit blown out on the left(from window light?). Otherwise, good exposure and great clarity -- I love the texture of the nose fur and the hint of the pink mouth. He looks very relaxed! He is a pretty boy, too.

I really like the processing here - the bright orange and black and white go very well together. If only my cats were so calm and didn't annoy me so much...

Fantastic image! I love seeing the detail on that fuzzy nose of his :-) He looks great against the orange background too! As for Rusty catching mice, most of my cats (since they were born feral) are natural born killers as well. The big difference between these my outdoor cats and my spoiled indoor cats is that the outdoor cats actually eat what they catch, anything from lizards to bugs to mice to???
