HDR is perfect! Kind of eerie, actually, like Stephen King's 'Children of the Corn'....
Is this a single or multiple shot HDR? If it is composed of multiple shots, it must have been a very still day as the leaves look sharp as a tack! |

Interesting shot -- we're so used to seeing blue skies that this overcast looks a little strange at first. Good texture in the clouds and details in the corn stalks.
Congratulations on the new lens -- you'll build up some muscle carrying it around. 8) |

Oh... this takes me SO far back... Paternal grandparents.... running threw the fields, and having NASTY grasshoppers sticking to my legs. FUN! Absolutely lovely image. (despite the grasshoppers, they are wonderful memories, thank you for taking me back.) |

Detail is stunning. HDR is perfect for this shot.
I hope you're eating some of that corn. Yum Yum! And yay for wickee_onefor getting you such a cool lens! |

I'll be seeing a lot of corn next week when I drive across Indiana and Illinois. Hope to get some decent photos. This has a somewhat ominous feeling. Good clarity. I assume you used a tripod and there wasn't much breeze. The sky looks more natural to me than in your HDR photo with the river.
Congrats on the new lens. What a thoughtful present! |

I love the dramatic clouds in this one, as they appear to be coming in on top of you, and the fields of corn growing so close, one could almost touch them. |
