Fall Forerunnerby karmatComment: Great shot. I really love the composition. I wish I could see some good autumn colors -- the leaves go straight from green to dead brown in NYC!
I don't know if you are interested in suggestions or criticism, but I feel the frame is too heavy for the photo. Maybe half the thickness would do, though that is surely a matter of personal taste. I also think the bokeh is interesting but a little grainy, and wonder if a mild denoising would add or detract? Just a couple of random thoughts (which I wouldn't bother with if I didn't really like the photo to begin with). :-) |

Randomby JutildaComment: VERY slice of life -- the progressively fading objects in the background (broom and shoes) are terrific counterpoints to your cat. That's a great expression on the cat's face, too -- like his thoughts are a million miles away. |

Plugged inby JutildaComment: Ah, until I read your description I had no idea what I was looking at (except for the white cup, of course). I couldn't imagine what was "plugged in", but it doesn't matter -- the photo's mystery really made me curious. |

day 4: retreatby ErinMComment: Another nice photo, well done on the sepia. I'm guessing you dodged the eyes. Although they are a little too white for my taste, they really stand out. |

fortressby ErinMComment: I think I prefer this one with the cooler tones. Even though he is looking at the camera the pose seems more natural. Such a serious expression for one so young. Great play of shadows. |

day 2: grillby ErinMComment: Thanks for the story and for sharing your PP. It may be a result of your processing, but your photos seem so sexy to me!

Day-02.jpgby KenComment: I wasn't absolutely sure this was a flower, though on some level I guess I knew. Not to be too nutty about it, but it strikes me immediately that this combines touches of Georgia O'Keefe with Andres Serrano -- something about flowers and femininity and blood. Beautiful, and though probably not intentional, those couple of little dark spots grounds it. Bravo! |

Rice Fireby cogeroxComment: Looks like a cloud. Awesome colors, and I like the nice wide angle. |

Market Ladyby cogeroxComment: Beautiful b&w. I don't know if that's primarily due to the conversion technique (thanks for sharing the link, by the way) or to the yellow filter, but it looks amazing. I like your composition, too. |
