 I had to laugh at what was on the den floor. My younger son liked to harrass my older son when he's in the shower, by hitting the ceiling with a broom, so my older son feels it from below, since all of the bedrooms are upstairs. Then of course, there are always a pair of shoes! Throw in my cat and VOILA.

VERY slice of life -- the progressively fading objects in the background (broom and shoes) are terrific counterpoints to your cat. That's a great expression on the cat's face, too -- like his thoughts are a million miles away.

I love reading the stories that go along with these slice of life images. It's really so fun to get little snipets of glimpses into other people's lives. I like the look of total indifference that you captured with your cat. SO cat-like!

Beautiful lighting on your image. I love this one. It's so random and normal, and you made it look so pretty! Love your cat, what a beauty. I've been looking for a gold cat with blue eyes for 25 years now!

Yet another picture showing the expressiveness of cats. That broom just adds to the whole effect, like he's responsible for something going on.

love your story judy .. one of these days your younger son will get the shock of his life when the broom goes right thru the ceiling !! .. the cat looks pretty relaxed .. altho the broom isnt in action right now .. :)

Fantastic capture of a slice of your life. The story sounds like something my girls might do to each other when they get older. They are always at each other, even though one is 9 and the other 3.

Awwwwwww. . .I haven't seen Rose in a long time. Just last night, I was playing with a picture of Smudge and was even wondering if you still had her! :) She is looking as beautiful and fluffy as ever, with a touch of the dark moody lighting: Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh yeah :)

Oh goodie, more cats!! Great composition for a random shot :-) I love the pensive look on kitty's face and how the broom handle echoes the line of his back and the color of his eyes. Cool lighting as well!
