Like a beefcake photo from 50 years ago! Not sure if this is meant to be humorous or not. Photo seems dark to me. Wish the model popped a little more from the background (sepia is okay choice, but color might have helped).

The best thing about this photo is the great expression and natural laugh you've captured. That's harder than it looks, and helps this stand out from the crowd. The b&w is very well done as well. A high score from me.

If I were a parent paying for my son's portrait, I'd be very pleased if the results were this good. Excellent subtle colors. Love the restraint shown here -- it is not oversaturated or oversharpened. Interesting that you went with a nearly square crop.

50 pounds and counting

Hey, John. Congrats on the loss. I lost about 50 pounds doing WW online (same user name), using the older flex plan. I'm still registered and paying monthly but no longer counting or even trying all that hard. I've also regained almost 40 pounds in the last 2-3 years. :-/

Don't let that happen to you. I've never been able to sufficiently remotivate myself.
