I love neon, interesting of you to desaturate it rather than punch it up which is the typical treatment. Nice grainy quality overall. I like the reflections behind the people, too.

Looks like Cabela's. Nice subjects; sometimes photos can be improved by moving the camera either higher or lower (e.g., kneel down).

Another "thumbs up" for the strong colors. I like the wide angle, too.

Thanks, Deb (Melethia). You have a good memory! Actually, it was your positive comment on the earlier version that encouraged me to take another look at it. And yes, I experimented with the post processing to help combat the over-exposed areas.

Here's the one I originally posted as an outtake for Movie Titles II (I hid it from view during the challenge):

"Two old panes of glass in a junk pile beneath a pine tree."

Ah, so that's how you did it! I thought this was interesting to look at and intriguing, too.

Fun image, actually! A bit hazy looking. I guess the long, narrow crop led to all those "4 and below" votes.

Great clarity and color (love those background blues), and fine, subtle PP work. I assume in the non-tone-mapped version, the caterpillar body is darker.

I'm not a huge fan of selective desat, but I thought it worked very well here. Maybe a teeny bit overblown on the t-shirt, otherwise beautifully lit. Cute little guy, I think his expression is alert and thoughtful. A very nice, underrated portrait.

Nice use of selective desaturation, and I like the three layers of foreground, subject, and background. Looks like an intense character!
