Hot Pixelby togtogComment: You got the brown, but you're not the lowest-scoring D300 photo.

Eye in the Nightby Yo_SpiffComment: I couldn't begin to guess what this was, but I like it well enough as an abstract (I was one of your six votes). |

Snakesby cogeroxComment: Wow, snakes! I used to love "snakes" as a kid -- it was one of the few fireworks we were allowed to play with (sparklers were another). Sometimes it gave the illusion that something was really coming out of the ground. |

Imagine Him Miserable!by CharleneComment: I love neon, interesting of you to desaturate it rather than punch it up which is the typical treatment. Nice grainy quality overall. I like the reflections behind the people, too. |

Fellow-Workers.jpgby cablondeoneComment: Looks like Cabela's. Nice subjects; sometimes photos can be improved by moving the camera either higher or lower (e.g., kneel down). |

The Rookie Firemanby citymarsComment: Thanks, Deb (Melethia). You have a good memory! Actually, it was your positive comment on the earlier version that encouraged me to take another look at it. And yes, I experimented with the post processing to help combat the over-exposed areas.
Here's the one I originally posted as an outtake for Movie Titles II (I hid it from view during the challenge):
