I'm not a huge fan of selective desat, but I thought it worked very well here. Maybe a teeny bit overblown on the t-shirt, otherwise beautifully lit. Cute little guy, I think his expression is alert and thoughtful. A very nice, underrated portrait.

As a straight monotone I would really like this, but the selective desat gives the photo a somewhat creepy feel, and a rather uncomfortable viewing experience for me.
