Smile! (Ode to pointandshoot)by MelethiaComment: I thought this was one of the more interesting interpretations on the challenge theme. The interaction of course is subtle and the "smile" anthropomorphic, but the light on the goat, the many lines, and the great tones really make this photo stand out. |

windy dayby JutildaComment: The high-key aspect jumps out, then I notice how the exposure on her face is controlled. Very soulful expression, and I like how the hand on the right somehow balances and "grounds" the picture. Beautiful pic! |

Just kidding. Admiring the late day autumn colors in this, and the water looks spectacular. Is it an optical illusion, or does it tilt ever so slightly to the left? Really beautiful. Similar landscape makes me think of "home" (I grew up in central Illinois). Cheers!

City Rainbowby shareinncComment: Though heavily saturated, and despite the fact that I can find examples of the R-O-G-B-Y-P spectrum if I search, I don't see enough real variance in color for me to credit this as a "rainbow" of colors. Hazy, blown out sky is also a detraction. |
