Nice candid, but sort of lacks excitement - no real sense of where he's coming from or going to. He's just there in mid step. Nice processing through, and good contrast throughout.

A nice scene and I like your composition - but this has the look of that gross processing used by some members of this site. I don't even know what it is, maybe some sort of large radius USM or something. Anyway, I can't stand that look, butI like this scene otherwise. I like the blur on the people too, gives it a bit of life and reinforces the sense of the kid wandering off from the dad.

If you are going to pursue this type of subject, you should really consider picking up (or borrowing/renting) a tilt shift lense. The perspective warping really takes away from these scenes.
