Like the repetitive pattern of lights and darks. The eyes looks a bit odd -- I don't think I've seen anything like this. |

Little bit chaotic, which might work but the cat's face is a chaos of tones as well so it all sort of blends together. |

I was also going to comment about the eyes - did you catch it mid-blink? Maybe it is just the way the cat looks. DOF works very nicely in this shot - even with the foreground OOF. |

This cat is a prime subject for B/W with that mix of tones in the fur. So where was this cat? In a tree outside a window or something?
I like cats (we have two), but the eyes here look a little weird (nothing wrong with the photo - just the cat). :P |

Very cute cat. Great perspective and I agree with the background, it is very interesting with all those oof limbs. Nice job. |
