escaping...by IreneMComment: Damn, I stopped voting to early. I missed this shot and it is a great one. Should have placed much higher, but an admirable finish nontheless. |

The Fight Clubby fotomann_foreverComment: Is he killing him right there on the mat? Is this photo police evidence now? No? Then what does this have to do with death? |

How's it hanging?by NefirComment: Heheheh. This is pretty good actually and the title gives it a light hearted spin. Only suggestion would be possibly shooting from a bit of a lower angle to reinforce the 'hanging' aspect and maybe lighten the shot a tad. The shot is so dark it took me a second to see the gap between feet and chair. |

Dead Catby NimilComment: What prevented you from getting down on your belly and shooting something drastic and dramatic? A shot into the face with the blood spilling into the foreground for instance. I don't know wher eyou live, but in 33 years I've not once seen a dead cat laying on the street like this. So this is a) something unusual, b) something that anyone with a functioning eye can see meets the challenge and c) could make for a shocking, dramatic photo. Unfortunately what's come of it is someone walking up, pointing the camera down, and taking a snapshot. If you thought this was worth taking a picture of, you should consider what it is about this that makes it worthy and then do your best to capture that and present it to the voters/viewers.
Sorry for preaching. There's a ton of garbage entries in this challenge so seeing something that had so much promise given the tourist treatment just got me yapping.
Good luck. |

Down, but not out......by timmotykaComment: These people are old, not dead. Pretty insulting to 'explore death' by submitting a shot of some old people. Then again maybe they are dead. They aren't moving after all. |

Dead Ringerby jdannelsComment: Good concept, good composition, but wreteched lighting that really sinks the shot. |
