 They say in the not so distant past before medicine is what it is today they didn't actually know if people were dead so they would tie a bell to a string and drop it into the coffin for a day or so, if the bell rang they would quickly dig the poor soul out. Hence the term "Dead Ringer." This is according to the Discovery channel. :)
Didn't come out exactly the way I wanted, but does it really ever?
Post challenge: I agree the lighting sucks, my commender function wasn't being very commanding so I had to put the sb-600 on the camera, oh well. After alittle more research, the internet told me the Discovery channels was full of crap :P

Some-one has been watching too many hammer house of horors films! Well executed - I especially like the chocolate brown of the sky.

The angle of the wrist ruins it for me a bit. I do like the title and the composition. Those look like clean nails though. :) 5

Interesting.....my daughter did her Thesis on being buried alive and the bell with the coffin (she's an installation artist). Great shot!
