Day 6 BW IMG_0040 door.jpgby JerseyGenieComment: I don't think you went too far. I think this looks very nice. Could even see it getting more 'radical' with more severe tones throughout. |

Day 06by Dirt_DiverComment: Is this like a 90% desat or a very subtle tri/quad tone? Seeing just hints of color throughout the image. Nice shot. I think I'd like to order a beer and dinner from her. |

Day 6 - circa 1870by bdennyComment: Nice tones and a lot of nice detail throughout. Actually looked at this 4 times before I noticed the woman in the background. |

Day 5 - Hoovesby bdennyComment: I like how the leading edge of the hooves forms a line leading into the background, but I'm wondering if it wouldn't have worked better if shot from more to the left and lower (if possible and assuming you didn't get kicked for the effort). |

the-parkby poserComment: Nice job of capturing (and keeping) the fog. It's easy to obliterate it in processing. Scene is, as you say, not the most exciting but it's a nice study in black and white. Good work. |

Day 4 soft patternby dreamyComment: Divide this shot into 4 equal quarters, and I could spend hours looking at the upper left quadrant. The bright little swirl points are very interesting. Where the image sort of fades off on the right side, I think the overall balance goes with it. Nice tones and very nie focus without being overly sharp. Good stuff. |

Day 6by TDCollinsComment: Your mom is probably ecstatic over what you put together for her. This is a great portrait and works very well in bw. Captured a really warm expression on her face. All mom's should be this happy. |

4by mia67Comment: Love the bokeh, love the tones. Parts of the bug are perfectly focused, but it seems to fade out a bit towards the edges of the wing. I'm not a big fan of centered subjects so I'd probably like it even more if the bug were off to the left, but as it is this is a very pleasing photo to look at. Good work. |

Britney.jpgby robgs57Comment: Overall, this is nice. I find the vertical line behind her to the right a bit distracting and it looks like a prime candidate for being burned into nonexistance. Pose looks fine to me though I am no portrait expert. Mouth looks a bit odd. Nice tones throughout, though the entire shot could benefit from a bit of a contrast boost. Good work. |

BananaTreeEmbraceby UrfaKComment: I see this technique in some other photogs picture son the site. I can't say I care for it at all, but that's a matter of taste I guess. The shot itself I have a hard time getting my head around. It's an abstract in one sense and a very detailed picture of leaves in another - I find it leaves my mind somewhere in between trying and failing to put it together. |
