| Happy to see someone else who likes a touch of cyan in their BW work. I think burning out the background sort of cut both ways here. It did highlight your subject, but at a cost of what looks like some very nice bokeh action. Not the most exciting scene, but my eye does move to the bright spot which I think was your intent so it succeeds in doing what you intended to do. |

| this looks beautiful, ben. i like the dof a lot. the bokeh works reallt well. these tones in your recent pictures are very nice. good processing. |

| I like the tones and the bokeh in this, but I'm not sure what the subject is or where I should focus my attention. The high contrast in the foreground leaves leads me away from them, but there doesn't seem to be much more to look at given the shallow depth of field. |
